With 180 new books ar­riv­ing at the Har­vey Li­brary this week, the shelves are now bulging with all sorts of in­ter­est­ing books to read: Christ­mas sto­ries, Christ­mas cook­ing and Christ­mas craft. Or, if Christ­mas is too over­whelm­ing, sto­ries about travel to far­away places, ro­mances to lift your heart, or crime to ex­er­cise your mind. To find out about all the books that are avail­able in Har­vey Shire Li­braries and through­out the South West, visit www.har­ and nav­i­gate your way to the in­ter­ac­tive li­brary site called En­ter­prise. Through En­ter­prise you can find out which items are on the shelf at which li­brary, re­new items, place holds on items, check de­tails of book con­tent, find par­tic­u­lars of movies in DVD or BluRay for­mat, or browse through talk­ing books in CD, MP3 or dig­i­tal for­mats. Li­brary staff are happy to help if you get stuck.


Santa Mail Boxes are now open at Har­vey and Aus­tralind Li­braries. Chil­dren who write a let­ter to Santa will get a re­ply in the mail – all the way from the North Pole to the Shire of Har­vey.
