Pen­cil cases nailed in li­brary project

Ham­mer­ing of nails threw quiet time out the win­dow at Aus­tralind Pub­lic Li­brary when 20 chil­dren took part in a DIY pen­cil case/box work­shop.

Aus­tralind Bun­nings ac­tiv­i­ties or­gan­iser Blair McLeish led the work­shop on Fri­day and said the chil­dren showed a real knack for the project.

“This just came out of the blue and we just love do­ing this kind of thing so we were happy to help out,” Mr McLeish said.
