Kim Hal­l­i­day, the Bris­bane-based cre­ator of Flip Flash Cards, was di­ag­nosed with dys­lexia at a young age and strug­gled through­out his school years. Af­ter dis­cov­er­ing the ben­e­fits of us­ing flash­cards, he was bet­ter able to study and, in turn, is now a chief navy engi­neer. “I know there are a lot of kids and adults out there like me – strug­gling with study and feel­ing down on them­selves. That’s why I cre­ated this app,” says Kim. Kim be­lieves his app can in­spire and help other strug­gling learn­ers achieve, re­mem­ber and re­in­force their con­tent and aban­don learn­ing fears and short­com­ings.
