A balanced meal
Although they get a bad rap, potatoes can certainly be part of a healthy diet. Striking the ideal balance comes down to the proportion of potatoes in a meal. Aim for oven-baked potatoes or wedges to take up only a quarter of your plate. That leaves plenty of room for a little lean protein — for example, grilled meat, chicken or seafood — and, of course, lots of colourful vegies like broccoli, carrot and cauliflower.
