Glad tidings for lucky 13
THIS release of some of the most spectacular allotments offered on the iconic Great Ocean Road has taken 15 years to work its way through the planning approval process.
For the 13 lucky purchasers at The Beaches, Apollo Bay, it will be well worth the wait.
The payment structure is highly attractive too, with the land being sold on a $2000 deposit, followed by a top-up to 10 per cent in six months and then settlement in two years.
Three of the lots have been sold before auction and the remaining 10 allotments will be auctioned on-site at noon on Saturday, February 6.
They range from 450sq m to 600sq m and are have price reserves from $365,000.
The land has reserve frontage to Apollo Bay’s famous sandy beach and blue-green Surf Coast waters. Many of the allotments have unobstructed views over the rolling surf.
The elevated and flat residential blocks have all services underground and provide access to an easy foreshore walking track to the
coastal village. As a popular tourist destination, Apollo Bay offers swimming and surf beaches, as well as a large boat harbour and marina that is home to a major fishing fleet.
The town’s commercial centre features a good selection of restaurants and cafes. It overlooks a grassy foreshore fronting the main swimming beach.
The rugged and bushy Great Otway National Park, which includes a lighthouse at Cape Otway, is easily accessible, making Apollo Bay a great place to enjoy the coast and the bushy hinterland of the Otway Ranges.
