Splash out on luxury
FORMER Master Builders Australia national president Trevor Evans knows a thing or two about building — and he hasn’t held back at his opulent Narre Warren North estate, Anketell Grove.
The sprawling property features an indoor pool, gym, five bedrooms and chandeliers at every turn, including in the kitchen, bathrooms and huge dressing room.
The home, at 291-297 Harkaway Rd, was first listed about 10 months ago with Sotheby’s International Realty but local agency Peake has just joined the campaign.
Peake agent Kristen Turner said the property had to be seen to be fully appreciated. “This is the type of property you need to experience to understand it’s true value,” she said.
Mr Evans, who is also a past Master Builders Association of Victoria president and has run his commercial building company, Becon Constructions, for more than 28 years, used only the best products and traditional building techniques to create his French Provincial style modern mansion.
French oak floors, Italian tiles, ornate plaster work, onyx and black granite benchtops in the kitchen, and a pool house with a lounge area, kitchenette and pizza oven, are among other features in the property, which has a price tag of $9 million-plus. FORMER North Melbourne premiership midfielder Shannon Grant had a big win last weekend when his Albert Park home sold after auction.
The gorgeous renovation at 181 Kerferd Rd initially passed in for about $1.8 million on March 5 and then sold shortly afterwards for an undisclosed price.
The classic Victorian features contemporary finishes, a granite kitchen and bright designer spaces.
The sale was handled by Greg Hocking, of Greg Hocking Holdsworth, who declined to comment.
