ON THE MARKET
One of the oldest and prettiest homes in the inner west has graced the market. Jellis Craig Fitzroy’s Trevor Gange said the 1850s bluestone cottage had retained its enchanting Victorian charm despite being updated over the years. “Many people have had their vision for the home throughout history, and now it’s time for it to be rejuvenated to the modern era by someone new,” Mr Gange said. Behind a picket fence, a facade adorned with leadlight windows and an elegant veranda, the home features high ceilings and an open-plan layout. A sun-drenched alfresco area, lush gardens and a detached studio are additional highlights. Mr Gange said the Yarraville Village and train station were also on the home’s doorstep.
