PUG BRIDE FULLY FROCKED AND WILL PAWS FOR EFFECT
GLAMOROUS bride-to-be Jasmine has unveiled her wedding dress with pug pride.
Set to wed Jasper, her partner of seven years, Jasmine gave the Herald Sun an exclusive look at her frock when she walkies down the aisle on May 17.
Designer Craig Braybrook said it took two days to create the gown for the pug wedding to be held at the West Beach Bathers Pavilion before 350 guests, including 60 pugs.
“The dress is completely over the top,’’ Mr Braybrook said. “I just wanted lots of tulle, lots of crystals, lots of bling, something extravagant. She sat there the whole time and posed for it. Jasper got a glimpse of her and started crying.
“He was just dazzled by her crystal beauty.”
The wedding, a fundraiser for the charity, Pug Rescue and Adoption Victoria, is being billed as the canine wedding of the year.
The groom will wear a designer suit, with the bridal pug party including a chief bridesmaid, flower pup, best dog and page pup.
Hen’s and buck’s parties were held last week.
Jasmine gets allfrocked up in preparation for her marriage to Jasper, when they will be a pair of smug pugs.
