TEENS PINCH PRE­CIOUS PUP

THIEVES have stolen a par­tially blind dog res­cued from a puppy farm while his new owner took him for a walk in Mel­bourne’s north.

Ch­ester (left) is a Ja­panese Chin who is blind in one eye and can­not bark. He was last seen by his owner about 5.15pm Wed­nes­day when the pair walked past four teenage boys. The 53-year-old man from Strath­more re­alised Ch­ester was miss­ing and saw two youths run­ning up a hill. Any­one with in­for­ma­tion is urged to con­tact Crime Stop­pers on 1800 333 000.
