Nothing Cornesy about this decision

Herald Sun - - NEWS -

YOU wouldn’t imagine Goldman without Sachs, Morgan without Stanley, JP without Morgan. What about Cornes without Sloane?

In one of the weirder corporate moves, two years ago KANE CORNES and RORY SLOANE crossed the sporting divide between Adelaide and Port Adelaide to form a digital advertising business known as Cornes and Sloane. The other partners were Cornes’ wife Lucy and Sloane’s wife Belinda. “We spent years throwing eggs at each other’s houses, but then we got in business,” Rory said then. “It’s good to have two people from the opposition working together.”

But the Sloanes left the company a month after Adelaide’s AFL grand final loss to Richmond, leaving Kane and Lucy as sole investors and directors of a business called Cornes and Sloane.
