SQUAREGAITING fans hoping Dance Craze would be a late nomination for the Trotters Inter Dominion have been disappointed.

Despite proving herself against the best in the nation, owner Pat Driscoll will wrap her in cotton wool until summer.

“She is probably a year away from being ready for the three heats in a week before the final,” Driscoll said. “We will still find some races for her between now and then. We’d definitely consider something like the Great Southern Star, being a one-off race, but the Inter Dominion just doesn’t suit her right now.”

Driscoll said Dance Craze sat alongside Arboe as the most talented horse to pass through his stables.
