Rogic aids Celtic cause
SOCCEROOS star Tom Rogic played a key role as Celtic beat Leipzig 2-1 to claw back to joint second in Group B of the Europa League yesterday, equal with the German club.
Rogic played a full game in central midfield as manager Brendan Rodgers went for broke, winning via Odsonne Edouard’s 79th-minute strike.
Salzburg qualified for the knockout phase with a 5-2 thrashing of Rosenborg in the group’s other match. Takumi Minamino scored a hat-trick.
