SNAPPERS UP THERE WITH BEST
AUSTRALIAN photographers have been recognised at this year’s National Geographic Nature Photographer of the Year contest. Queensland’s Alison Langevad took out third place in the wildlife category, with her photo, A New Look, of two dehorned southern white rhinos drinking from a watering hole in South Africa’s Zimanga Game Reserve (above). Todd Kennedy, of Sydney, was a runner-up in the people category with the photo, Roadside Motel, (right) of his daughter, Genie.
