There are many fun and fabulous upcoming health and well-being trends for this year’s fast-approaching summer.

Looking after your health and well-being is undoubtedly one of the most important elements of our lives.

From the new cryotherapy to the traditional practice of yoga and meditation, there are many options to try out.

Cryotherapy is the hottest new beauty trend.

While it has been around for some time, in this past year interest really has sparked in the alternative therapy with many celebrities such as Mandy Moore and Daniel Craig and supermodels such as Romee Stijd giving it a go and seeming to be loving it with its obvious benefits.

Cryotherapy is the process of exposing the body to ultra-low temperatures in a controlled environment for a certain amount of time.

The benefits of cryotherapy range from higher energy levels to more youthfully glowing skin.

While cryotherapy has not been introduced to Toowoomba, Brisbane offers a wide variety of cryotherapy clinics.

Meditation is slightly more traditional but is always trending because of its benefits.

For busy people with on-the-go lives it can be hard to find the time to practise meditation.

Influential and incredibly busy celebrities such as Ellen Degeneres and Jerry Seinfeld have mentioned many times in interviews how meditation helps them deal with the hectic lives they lead.

They’ve also hinted that they like to use apps such as Headspace, Calm and Stop, Breathe and Think to assist with the clearing of their mind through meditation.

Yoga offers thousands of postures and poses to maintain a healthy mind, body and soul, however adding a modern twist to the age-old practice of yoga is the newest trend.

Paddle yoga is the practice of yoga on a paddleboard.

Doing yoga on a paddleboard is a much greater challenge than it is on stable ground.

This means that staying balanced on the board has multiple benefits.

It also helps in breaking through fears of deep water or the sea.

This summer look after your health and well-being in fun, fresh and fabulous new ways.
