THIS Easter there will be many people travelling to the region to celebrate Easter at the Highfields Pioneer Village on Easter Saturday, Sunday and Monday — March 31, April 1 and 2. The theme of the festival is “following footsteps”.

Come and experience rural life in the Australian pioneer days and milk a cow, learn to crack a whip or be a blacksmith. Enjoy billy tea and damper made on authentic camp ovens. Don’t miss the grand parade and baby animals in the nursery, plus live music and great food.

Whether you love history, you’re a vintage machinery buff or you are looking for great entertainment, you will have a wonderful time at the Easter Vintage Festival. Tickets at www.eastervintagefestival.com.

If ghosts are of more interest to you, South East Paranormal is conducting paranormal investigations of the village grounds on February 10.
