Nice bal­ance in hol­i­day pro­gram

CHIL­DREN have been learn­ing circus skills and get­ting crafty through the City of Swan’s school hol­i­day pro­gram this month.

Young­sters learnt how to jug­gle and bal­ance ob­jects at a work­shop in Day­ton’s St Leonard’s Com­mu­nity Cen­tre on Tues­day.

Work­shops planned for the re­main­der of the hol­i­days in­clude ‘In­dige­nous cul­ture with kids’ ses­sions in Beech­boro and Guild­ford on July 9, Bal­la­jura on July 10, Bulls­brook on July 11, El­len­brook on July 12 and Mid­land on July 13.

There will be Scitech na­ture’s nin­jas work­shops in Beech­boro on July 10 and 11, and a crafty morn­ing ses­sion at Al­tone Park on July 12.

At Mun­dar­ing Arts Cen­tre, there will be a paint­ing work­shop with artist Jae Crid­dle on July 10 and artist Gabby Loo will guide chil­dren through art of Zine cre­ation on July 13.
