LETTER FROM THE EDITOR’S DESK
There are lots of things to do across the beautiful Hills to Hawkesbury region in the coming weeks!
There is the Ebenezer Church Spring Fair on Saturday 1st October from 8am-3pm. Ebenezer church is Australia’s oldest church and there’s something for everyone!
The Gemkhana is happening on Saturday, Sunday and Monday, 1st, 2nd and 3rd of October from 9am-5pm and then 9am-12noon on the Monday at Hawkesbury Showground. This event showcases the competition of the lapidaries from all over NSW and will have gemstones and minerals on display.
The Wiseman’s Ferry Community Market is on October 3rd. There will be market stalls, entertainment and barefoot bowls! All of these are a lovely drive, so make a day of it and enjoy. I hope the weather is kind! Last, there is the Lifeline Book Fair at Oakhill College on the 8th and 9th of October from 8am-5pm. Check it out for some bargains.
We are through our first month of spring and we’ve had some lovely rain, so gardens must be blooming! Don’t forget to send us your photos and a little blurb about your garden to be included in the magazine!
As always, don’t forget to support our local advertisers. They are ready and waiting to help you.
