Walk with a Giant at Hawkesbury Relay For Life
star Kristina Brice is coming to Hawkesbury Relay For Life.
The goal-shooting maestro was one of the GIANTS’ key offensive weapons in 2017, helping her team reach the grand final of the inaugural Suncorp Super Netball competition. The 23-year-old, who has been playing netball for 14 years, said she felt her game had reached another level in 2017.
Brice said the 2017 Hawkesbury event would be her first time participating in Relay For Life. She was looking forward to meeting members of the Hawkesbury community and talking to them about their experiences while encouraging younger participants to take up netball.
Brice said she hoped by participating in Relay For Life and supporting Cancer Council she could help give something back to the community. “I try to donate as much as possible to Cancer Council,” she said.
Brice will be walking with Relay For Life participants at the Hawkesbury Showground from 11am to 1pm on Saturday, September 9. The 2017 Hawkesbury Relay For Life will boast a full program of entertainment for young and old alike.
