Do you con­sider your­self green fin­gered or thumbed? Do you love noth­ing more than spend­ing the week­ends in the gar­den?

Whether it’s a patch, plot or acre that you like to prune solo or with your com­mu­nity, the Yel­low Pages and White Pages is call­ing for you. In part­ner­ship with the Aus­tralian City Farms and Com­mu­nity Gar­dens Net­work (ACFCGN), the Yel­low Pages and White Pages is cel­e­brat­ing the nation’s love for gar­den­ing in a move that will see the Wind­sor 2017/18 directory cover used to show­case the area’s gar­den­ing king or queen. From now un­til mid­night 21st Septem­ber, a com­pe­ti­tion will be run­ning to find Wind­sor’s gar­den-loving cover star or stars. By sim­ply shar­ing an im­age of your beloved gar­den and telling us your best gar­den­ing tip, you will be one step closer to be­ing crowned Wind­sor’s Gar­den Great.

Since ev­ery gar­den is spe­cial, they are look­ing for gar­dens of all shapes, sizes, colour, and of course ac­com­pa­ny­ing sto­ries. The best en­trant will be judged on the creativ­ity of their gar­den and sub­mit­ted gar­den­ing tip by a panel of judges.

Not only do gar­dens make com­mu­ni­ties health­ier, but also more sus­tain­able, more con­nected and of course, more beau­ti­ful too. Com­mu­nity gar­dens bring peo­ple of all ages and na­tion­al­i­ties to­gether to not only grow or­ganic pro­duce but also to en­gage, teach and nour­ish all who visit
