As Christmas comes around once

It's a good time to reflect, There must be more to Christmas Than shops and homes bedecked.

It's nice for friends and family To gather all together,

To relax and eat and drink And enjoy our nice warm weather Yes, it's fun for little children To open up their toys And join the celebrations As happy girls and boys.

A busy and expensive time, Whatever is the reason,

To single out this Christmas tide As a very special season?

For many, the time of Christmas Seems a little flat,

And people start to ponder, Surely, it's more than that?

Truly the joy of Christmas Is very easily found Through our caring and our

As we look around.

There are many lonely people Who need a helping hand, A kindly act in word or deed Is what they'll understand.

The meaning of this season Will soon become quite clear If we extend the Christmas spirit, We will experience the cheer.

Remember "Christ" in Christmas. Treat all folk as a brother. You'll have a happy season

If you try to help each other.
