Nom­i­na­tions are open for the 2018 Cus­tomer Ser­vice Ex­cel­lence award as part of the Ro­tary Po­lice Of­fi­cer of the Year pro­gram.

The Hills Com­man­der, Su­per­in­ten­dent Rob Critchlow, is ask­ing the lo­cal com­mu­nity to recog­nise a po­lice of­fi­cer who has gone be­yond their nor­mal du­ties by mak­ing them­selves ac­ces­si­ble, tak­ing ap­pro­pri­ate ac­tion and keep­ing them in­formed.

The award recog­nises high stan­dards of cus­tomer ser­vice through per­sonal deal­ings with cus­tomer and by con­tribut­ing to the over­all cus­tomer ser­vice pol­icy through their in­volve­ment in com­mu­ni­ca­tions, prob­lem solv­ing and in­no­va­tion.

Since 2010 the Ro­tary Club of Syd­ney on be­half of the Ro­tary Clubs of NSW has hosted the an­nual awards to hon­our po­lice of­fi­cers, unsworn em­ploy­ees and vol­un­teers who dis­play out­stand­ing ded­i­ca­tion and dili­gence in their ser­vice to lo­cal com­mu­ni­ties.

Nom­i­na­tions close on Septem­ber 7.
