“Cel­e­brat­ing Women in The Hills” will be held at the Thomp­son Hall, Bal­combe Heights Es­tate, Seven Hills Road on Fri­day 14th Septem­ber at 6.30pm.

Hills Sorop­ti­mists be­lieve there are many women who are look­ing for a worth­while or­gan­i­sa­tion that they can join. There are many Ser­vice Clubs in the Hills Shire do­ing great things for the lo­cal Com­mu­nity, and for women and girls lo­cally and in­ter­na­tion­ally.

At­ten­dees can ex­pect a show­case of eight Hills or­gan­i­sa­tions and hear from three guest speak­ers. The three speak­ers are Hills based women: Dr Michelle Byrne, Mayor of the Hills Shire; Azita Ab­dol­lahian from the Shin­ing Light Foun­da­tion and Kerry Mann CEO of Cran­brook Care. There will be an op­por­tu­nity for at­ten­dees to peruse the in­for­ma­tion stands prior to the com­mence­ment of guest speak­ers and again at the con­clu­sion of the for­mal­i­ties.

Pres­i­dent of Sorop­ti­mist In­ter­na­tional of The Hills District, An­nette Mains­bridge, said “You can be as­sured of hav­ing a great even­ing cel­e­brat­ing our Hills women and get­ting to know more about what’s avail­able in our Hills com­mu­nity”.
