Lift­ing the mask from men­tal health is some­thing that the Pos­i­tive Vibes Foun­da­tion strives to do. It will be hold­ing it’s fifth Moon­light Mas­quer­ade Ball in the Hills on Oc­to­ber 12 in col­lab­o­ra­tion with ma­jor spon­sor, the Wind­sor Road Pri­vate Clinic.

The glit­ter­ing event will be held at Bi­vianos in Du­ral and will fea­ture former AFL player Jake Ed­wards, who runs the or­gan­i­sa­tion, Out­side The Locker Room, as guest speaker. The former Carl­ton player will talk about his strug­gles and the chal­lenges of liv­ing with de­pres­sion for the past 10 years. Tick­ets are $150 per per­son.

Masks are avail­able on the night if you don’t have one. There will be raf­fles, auc­tions, mu­sic and en­ter­tain­ment dur­ing the night.

Gold spon­sor Lionel D’Cruze from Iron­fish said: “I have lost a few of my friends to de­pres­sion so I hold this close to my heart. Men­tal health is an area we need to talk about.”
