A team of pur­ple clad vol­un­teers are tak­ing the stress out Christ­mas shop­ping by wrap­ping gifts at Cas­tle Tow­ers.

So far $5000 has been raised for the Can­cer Coun­cil with shop­pers mak­ing dona­tions for each gift wrapped.

Cas­tle Tow­ers has sup­plied the qual­ity pa­per and rib­bon. Vol­un­teer co-or­di­na­tor Ruth Dids­bury from the Hills Re­lay For Life said vol­un­teers had been very gen­er­ous with their time and shop­pers had been very ap­pre­cia­tive.

Dona­tions have ranged from $1 to $50. Vol­un­teers will be wrap­ping un­til Cas­tle Tow­ers closes on Christ­mas Eve. You can find them at Level 3 at Cas­tle Tow­ers near Myer out­side Peter Alexan­der and Sanc­tu­ary for Hair. If you want to vol­un­teer email Ruth at the­[email protected]
