HAWKESBURY SHOW FUN

From amazing animals and craft to sizzling car soccer and fireworks there will be so much fun for all ages at this year’s Hawkesbury Show.
It will be the 123rd show and the historic agricultural event has evolved to meet demand, with a packed program set to dazzle and entertain the whole family over three days from May 10 to May 12.
Admission prices are the same as previous years and cover access to all pavilions, arena entertainment, commercial displays, stage entertainment and animal sheds.
This year’s show will feature a mega combined
Emergency Services display, a new Taste the Hawkesbury display, sheep shearing demonstration, sheep dog exhibition and Car Soccer in the main arena.
There will also be the famous racing pigs and the popular Lego section. Friday, May 10 is a great day for school groups and interested hobby farmers with a number of specialist talks such as Cattle Grooming, Caring for Sheep and How to Wash a Chook being held.
Art is big this with increased numbers in art and craft plus the famous Painted Chook competition is back.
The Lego section is in its third year features an Aussie theme this year. New attractions include a chocolate craft category and a men’s cooking section plus the true Taste of the Hawkesbury exhibit.
With woodchop, showbags and rides there really will be something for everyone across the three days including poultry, cats, rats, dogs, alpacas, donkeys, cattle, sheep, goats, ducks, horses, and reptiles.
The official opening of Hawkesbury Show will take place on Saturday at 1pm by Graham Ross from Better Homes and Gardens.
