The pop­u­lar Inala Fair will spring into ac­tion on Sun­day, Septem­ber 22 in Inala’s mag­nif­i­cent grounds in Franklin Rd, Cher­ry­brook, op­po­site the Cher­ry­brook Metro sta­tion.

There is some­thing for ev­ery­one to en­joy dur­ing the fun-packed day in­clud­ing pony rides, jump­ing cas­tle, an­i­mal farm and face paint­ing through to craft stalls and the pop­u­lar cloth­ing bou­tique. Book lovers will en­joy the ex­pan­sive book stall, and new par­ents can pur­chase beau­ti­ful, hand knit­ted and home-made ba­bies and chil­dren’s cloth­ing at the chil­dren’s stall.

Inala par­ent Wilma Ri­ley will be say­ing goodby af­ter run­ning the chil­dren’s stall at the Inala stall for 50 years.

The fete will mark five decades of knit­ting and mak­ing ex­quis­ite chil­dren’s clothes for Wilma and her friends. Clients across Inala’s day pro­grams have been busy for months mak­ing a won­der­ful range of art and craft to sell in­clud­ing toy tool boxes com­plete with hand­made wooden tools, ce­ram­ics, can­dles, jew­ellery and much more. There will be gourmet food stalls, home­made cakes, pies and other tasty treats.

En­ter­tain­ment will fea­ture the Hills District Pipe Band, Nova Stu­dios, Cher­ry­brook Tech­nol­ogy High School Big Band, the Spe­cial Olympics Per­for­mance Group and more.

All pro­ceeds raised will help Inala pro­vide op­por­tu­ni­ties for in­di­vid­u­als with dis­abil­ity to cre­ate, con­nect and grow.

Founded in 1958, Inala is com­mit­ted to pro­vid­ing the high­est qual­ity sup­port to in­di­vid­u­als liv­ing with dis­abil­ity through a range of flex­i­ble Ac­com­mo­da­tion, Day and Com­mu­nity Sup­ports. The Fair will run from 9am to 3pm on Sun­day, Septem­ber 22.
