Who lives here?

Janelle, a qualified personal trainer; her husband, Jeremy, a respiratory and sleep disorders physician; and their sons, Samuel, eight, and Elliot, seven (all pictured left).

Did you live in the home before renovating it? Janelle: “Yes, for six weeks. It made us appreciate this even more. It’s now difficult to picture the house as it was before the renovation.” Would you do anything differently?

“I think it’s pretty perfect. We might make a tweak here and there, but there won’t be major changes.” What is your best piece of renovating advice? “Pick both an architect and a builder you can communicate with. If you can’t do that, forget it. My architect was happy to discuss anything with me for as long as I wanted to discuss it.”
