BATHROOM

-

To create a day-spa effect in the bathroom (top left), the couple chose composite tiling that resembles stone. To get the look, try ‘Coliseum’ stone-look ceramic tiles from Earp Bros. A rain shower adds to the decadent feel – try the Milli ‘Inox 300’ overhead rail shower from Reece. CHILDREN’S BEDROOM Ellen and Ingrid’s bedroom (top right) was designed so that it can be divided into two separate rooms when they’re older. A large table provides plenty of space for the girls and their friends to spread out and work on craft projects, Lego creations or homework. The children also love playing with the customisable doll’s house by German brand Hase Weiss. MAIN BEDROOM Like the rest of the home, the couple’s bedroom (above left) is understated, tranquil and harmonious. They chose a grey linen bedspread, with a burst of colour added by an orange-red blanket that used to belong to Mathias’ grandmother. Indoor plants add much-needed greenery during the long winters.
