CUT PILE – PLUSH: This carpet comprises dense, twisted fibres that create a luxurious finish and velvet-like texture.

CUT PILE – TWIST: Similar to the plush in that the tops of the loops are removed to form an even surface. The use of taut, tightly twisted yarn gives the carpet a crisp, more textured appearance.

LOOP PILE: A loop pile takes the name from the way the carpet is ‘looped’. Other styles include sisal, cord and multi-level loop.

CUT AND LOOP: This style combines the cut loops of cut pile and the full loops of loop pile, creating a sculptured appearance.

HAND-KNOTTED RUGS: As they are handmade, they are the most expensive rug (pictured).
