Everything old is new again, for clever bower-birds Shania and Tom. The couple, who love scouring antiques shops, garage sales and Ebay, have amassed a unique array of items now artfully displayed throughout the apartment – everything from a German World War I helmet to a 19th-century cast-iron chain block. “We love giving new life to things,” says Tom. Shania adds: “We’ve always adored old, rusty items. There’s something about the patina we can’t resist.”
