When Helen and her husband, Evan, owner-built their home in Melbourne, they didn’t leave their 3m x 2.5m powder room as an afterthought. Black Caroma taps (try the Liano Nexus range) contrast with tactile subway tiles from The Tile Shed, while a circular mirror expands the space and reflects the double-drop Beacon Lighting pendant. A marble basin from Bathroom Superstore stands tall on a drop-down stone bench, while the tactile Adairs rug is a colour complement to silver Morgan & Finch hand towels from Bed Bath N’ Table.
