In contrast to more modern wall-hung or integrated varieties, a custom ‘furniture-style’ vanity by Provincial Kitchens – with legs and large drawers – echoes forms of yesteryear (above right). “The room was large so we could choose a chunkier, solid feel to the cabinetry rather than something fine or delicate,” says Dominique. “We achieved this by using thicker posts as the legs and wider profile rails on the doors. Undermount porcelain bowls finish the classic look.” The cabinetry was then painted in Dulux Snowy Mountains Quarter.
