Who lives here?
Sasha, founder of social media marketing company Fanfare Media; her husband Jason, a business owner; and Russo the labradoodle. What is your best tip for sourcing online? Sasha: “Things may not turn out as pretty as a picture. Real life always looks more rustic than an Instagram post! Some of the time, things may not have been what I expected, but nothing was a disappointment or a waste of money.” What was your biggest building challenge? “Budget. When you have beautiful images and an expectation of what your home will look like, you need to be practical about what that costs.” Jason was your builder. How did that go?
“It worked well because we had our roles. I’m so proud of him. This wasn’t an easy home to build. It’s not simple bricks and mortar.”
