MOROCCAN CHARM
Culture and craftsmanship are at the core of Moroccan architecture, especially when it comes to its signature characteristic – the tile. Authentic Moroccan tiles are handmade, giving them an organic finish, and are often used as a feature wall in living spaces, but as a practical material, they are also brilliant for bathrooms. “Copper and brass tapware work nicely alongside North African-style tiles, as long as the colour blends with the tile palette so they won’t clash or compete for attention,” says Sonya Marish of Jatana Interiors.
