Taking the curtain rail well clear of the window on either side stops the open drapes from blocking light, while opting for a full-length drop from ceiling to floor will create the illusion of height. Alternatively, if privacy isn’t an issue, you could opt for no window treatments at all! This look isn’t for everyone, but will let in the maximum amount of light for a gloriously sun-drenched feeling.
