“The magnolias. We love the liquid amber and the ornamental pears up the driveway. And, of course, the ornamental cherry tree outside our bathroom with its massive pink blossoms.” Favourite details?

“The 10-foot ceiling heights and the French doors. And the dark timber floor – we just love it.” Best spot to sit and just be?

John: “On the front verandah. It’s beautiful to sit out there and look at the pond and the goldfish and watch the sun go down in the afternoon.”
