“Muji is a little unsung hero – they’re a little bit like the Japanese version of Ikea. I really love all of their mundane objects, like glass jars, brooms, stationery, coathangers and the little things – utilitarian, minimalist objects – that make day-to-day life joyous. I have this great timber tray from there, which I love; it’s the best thing ever and it was only $30!”
