“I remember my very first home story was in the January 2009 edition. I was incredibly excited and bought three copies, which I still have!”

What makes writing for HB special?

“I’ve always been obsessed with interiors, so it’s a privilege to be warmly welcomed into so many amazing homes and spend a day chatting with the owners. I’ve also picked up some great design tips along the way.” What’s your all-time favourite HB story you’ve written? “A definite favourite is a feature I did on ceramicist and painter Susan Simonini (right), whose studio I also styled for the story. I’m a huge fan of Susan’s work and she’s one of the loveliest people I’ve met.” What’s your kind of story to write? “I love Creative Collection stories – it’s inspiring to meet people who are passionate about what they do. Often, they’ve made a leap of faith to pursue what they love and turn it into a career.”
