Who lives here?
Kate, a botanist; Michael, who runs bespoke safari company Passage to Africa; and their sons, Sebastien and Marcus, both 12, and Felix, five. Daughter Tagatha is a frequent visitor.
Do you prefer older or newer homes?
Kate: “We’re drawn to both in equal measure. Our previous house was an 1860s Victorian. We particularly like a combination of old and contemporary: clean architectural lines, with a nod to history.”
What is your favourite part of the home?
“The view from the sitting room windows overlooking the stream. It’s tranquil and calming.”
Where would we find you on a Sunday morning?
“We love being at home and we love food. So you’d probably find us sitting around the kitchen table eating something delicious like Turkish eggs!”
