WE LOVE... moody hues

Reserved for after dark, the main bedroom was just the place to experiment with deep colour. “I wanted to try something new, with bold colours that would suit the style of the house,” explains Annaleena. She achieved this with dark grey – almost black – paint (try Dulux Wash & Wear in Western Myall, $46.90/ litre) and engagingly crumpled dark linen (for similar, try I Love Linen). The artwork is by Annaleena herself, while the basket is a Hakola product that makes a quirky wall decoration.
