Sydney-based artist Leila Jeffreys, known for her classic portraiture of Australian birds, has taken the beauty of Australian wildlife to a global scale. Her exhibition of larger-than-life photographs ‘Ornithurae’ is currently being held at the Purdy Hicks Gallery in London and it’s her third international exhibition this year alone. “To help throw a spotlight on what’s incredible about Australia is a very proud moment for me,” she says.
