Adelaide’s Justin Hermes Design has strong sustainability credentials. He sources timber from naturally fallen trees and converts it into practical, sensible furniture with a sense of history and longevity. The streamlined, simple designs work seamlessly with the materials, allowing the timber to shine. New Zealand-based designer Tim Webber offers super-sleek furniture and lighting creations, predominately manufactured across the Tasman. Tim’s ‘Pivot’ coffee table (right), with its striking solid walnut and dowelmeets-T-frame base, is topped with polished limestone. It is also available in oak with a Carrara marble top.
