I love calming colours, natural materials and textures, with the odd touch of glamour thrown in.” What is your favourite spot in the house? “In spring and summer, the outdoor area by the pool. It has such a relaxed, tropical feel. In winter we all love the library area. It’s cosy and has a great view of the garden.” Best decorating decision?

“Getting help from a professional interior designer. Melinda helped source products and suppliers we couldn’t find and brought everything together.”
