In the courtyard, the leaves of an ornamental pear cast heart-shaped shadows over a weathered bench, made cosy with cushions and a linen throw, all from Città Design, and complemented by a cushion in black and white toile by Piece By Piece Home. Beyond is a stone wall, a traditional feature of the area; while parts of the original one still stood in the garden, Jan and Rod had a number of new sections added.
