“I subscribe to pretty much every magazine related to fashion and interiors, and I buy a lot of books. I like to look at how people are presenting their ideas, whether it be flowers, fashion or editorials. Obviously, it’s all very accessible on the web now, but I feel when people have curated something and taken it to print, it’s often much more thought out. This is why I think there is still a place for magazines. The format may be changing, but the output is still there. Fashion is a big part of the conversation my sister Caroline and I have, and we obviously really enjoy consuming fashion, too.”
TABLE TOPPER
“I’m working with a friend on a homewares range, due to launch this month. We worked together on all of the designs and I hand-painted the patterns that appear on some of the plates. We want to introduce colour to tablescapes. It’s an entirely new brand and business called In The Round House, so I’m really excited. Who knows where it’ll go? But I just love creating and doing new things.”

“I wanted to do something different for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I feel like ‘Pink October’ has really fallen off in the fashion space, so I wanted to bring it back. There’s still no cure [for breast cancer], it’s obviously still an issue. So in October, we had a collection featuring designs by artist Arianna Margulis of @butlikemaybe (see phone case below right) and we donated to the National Breast Cancer Foundation.”
HOME RUN
“This is my first home – I bought it when I was quite young and didn’t know much about interiors. I think my next house is where I’m really going to unleash. This is my comingof-age home – the living room is more functional and it’s where my sister and I hang out and watch The Bachelor. The artwork (above) is called ‘Hydrangeas’ by Derek Henderson and the [‘Piper’ pendant] lights are from Jardan.”
ARTFUL AFFAIR
“My art collection is based around the colour pink – it’s a new interest. Recently I bought a Holly Ryan sculpture (above centre) and a Dan Kyle piece (above left) from the Sydney Contemporary Art Fair. These flowers are actually by my local florist Summers Floral – I like to buy locally where possible, because I need my local high street to stay alive.”

“My life is split between Melbourne and Sydney, so I wear a lot more of my wardrobe than I otherwise would. My Sagitine drawers (right) are from Becker Minty
– I saw the polaroid idea on Instagram. My flower addiction started in my days as a lawyer. Then I met [florist] George Low when I started The Daily Edited. I’ve learnt a lot from George – now I really enjoy having flowers in any space.”
