Who lives here?

Sally, an interior architect; her husband, Ben; new baby Hazel; Great Dane Violet and malamute cross golden retriever Duke. What are your Christmas rituals? Sally: “I love Christmas! We usually have our parents over for a few glasses of bubbly while we put the tree up.” Do you have a Christmas theme?

“I always stick to greens and whites, with a touch of gold or things like calico ribbon thrown in. And there are often vases of hydrangeas around the house at Christmas time – they are my favourite flower.” What’s on your Christmas list this year?

“It sounds cheesy, but honestly just to spend time with Hazel, Ben and our families. But if Santa needs a request, I wouldn’t say no to a bottle of Diptyque perfume. And if he is feeling really generous, he could install aircon! The house gets lovely breezes, but there are always days when all you want is to have aircon on full blast!”
