INSIDE STORY

NATALIE & GERRY’S HOME

-

Who lives here?

Natalie, owner of Chasing Winter Interior Stylist & Store and co-owner of Found Bali Safari; Gerry, a business owner; and their beagle, Snoopy.

What’s the best part of renovating? Natalie: “We love seeing the transformation of something that has been let go. It’s a journey.” What’s your favourite aspect?

Gerry: “I love how we’ve managed to create space and privacy in an inner-city suburb.” How did you stay on budget?

Natalie: “We keep a spreadsheet of ‘budget vs actual’ to keep track of over-spending.” Best advice for creating a cohesive interior? Natalie: “Engage an interior designer to help select your fixtures, fittings and features. Interior designers see a complete vision and the flow of your home is so important, from the front door to the last room.”
