Considered landscaping along the pool and fence line will also work wonders for shade and privacy. “Use dense evergreens with ascending branches along the fence line, dotted with deciduous shade trees,” says David of Speciality Trees. Space and budget permitting, a pool house delivers a resort-like ambience and may be the ultimate shade-providing solution.
