“It’s so much easier working for other people than for myself,” says Kate, who found designing two homes with different interior styles at the same time difficult. “I loved it and it was such a great opportunity to be creative, but it definitely made my life a lot harder... my brain was kind of jumping between the two sides.” However, looking back, she’s still surprised by how smoothly the project went. “I think if I sat on it, I probably wouldn’t change anything,” she says.
