QUIET CUES

With the spectacular stained-glass window displaying exquisite colour and pattern, surrounding tiles had to be subtle. Walls were kept simple and classic with handmade subways from GIA Bathrooms & Kitchens, while the flooring was inspired by original terrazzo in the home’s entrance. “Bringing the natural material through different spaces really tied the renovation together,” says designer Olivia of the 400mm x 400mm tiles from Fibonacci Stone. “Rather than statement terrazzo or a traditional look, we opted for a larger aggregate which perfectly suits the space.”
